Notdam Care & Handling
During the first month of use, hand wash your Yugi gently with mild soap and water, then dry it immediately with a soft cloth. Keeping the surface dry helps minimize early water marks and discoloration.
Bangjja Yugi naturally reacts to air, moisture, heat, salt, and certain foods. Temporary discoloration or water marks are normal, especially when the piece is new. With continued use, many of these marks will naturally soften as the surface develops its characteristic patina.
Many marks will gradually diminish with regular use. For more noticeable discoloration, use Notdam Yugi Scrub on a completely dry piece. Gently polish the affected area with the dry scrub.
Dark or black residue may appear while polishing. This is a normal result of cleaning the metal surface.
Soak Yugi for 1 hour in a mixture of 30 parts lukewarm water to 1 part vinegar. This helps deepen the color and reduce early water marks or metallic scent.
No. Yugi tableware should not be boiled or placed in the oven unless the item is specifically designated as cookware.
